Peacock bass biting in urban canals

The best bet for freshwater anglers has been to fish for peacock bass in urban canals.

Capt. Alan Zaremba continues to have good trips using what he calls a mixed bag of tactics: throwing some topwater lures and some hard jerkbaits for fish that are starting to roam in schools and sight-casting for fish that are hanging around spawning beds with bucktail jigs and flies.
