    "Pippin" is a decades-old, treasured, award-winning circus-themed musical about a prince in search of meaning. And the Tony Award–winning Broadway revival is coming to Hartford with a cast member who is also treasured and well-known. Lucie Arnaz, actress, producer, dancer and daughter of icons Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, will star as Berthe in the U.S. national tour production at the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts, Jan. 6 to 11. Arnaz, who starred in her mother's TV shows including "The Lucy Show" and "Here's Lucy," is best known for her stage work, which has included they're "Playing Our Song," "Seesaw" and "My One and Only." She also starred in the movie "The Jazz Singer" with Neil Diamond, produced two documentaries on her parents and is active in The Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Center and its Lucille Ball Festival of New Comedy. Married to actor and writer Laurence Luckinbill, the 63-year-old was funny and sincere as she talked about the tour, her marriage, her parents and her spin on life as she Spilled the Beans with Java.
