"On the Radio -- Sounds of the 70s": Break out the bell-bottoms, slip on your mood ring and get into the "Soul Train" line. This trip around the radio dial of the Me Decade includes hits from ABBA, Carly Simon, John Lennon, ZZ Top and Gladys Knight (and the Pips, of course). "On the Radio: Sounds of the 70s" is the brainchild of local vocalist Mimi J, who has worked as a background singer for Gloria Estefan, Bobby McFerrin and Johnny Gill. She teamed up with theatrical director and choreographer Kevin Black ("Rags" with Manalapan's Plaza Theatre; "Spamalot" with Palm Beach's Entr'Acte Theatrix). Both are fans of songs in the show, including "Close to You," "Proud Mary," "I Will Survive" and "Nobody Does It Better." 2 p.m. at Broward Stage Door Theatre, 8036 W. Sample Road, Coral Springs. $38 ($16 for students). 954-344-7765 or StageDoorFL.org. - Rod Stafford Hagwood

An evening with the Jewish James Bond
“Wiesenthal,” at Stage Door Theatre in Coral Springs, is a good play, but it’s also sad and maddening. Good mostly because of the performance by Tom Dugan, who gracefully holds the audience in his hands during the 90-minute show with a...
