Watch U. of I. alum debut as 'Daily Show' correspondent

Former University of Illinois tennis star Michael Kosta made his debut Tuesday as the newest correspondent for "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah."

Kosta, who hails from Michigan, presented an in-studio piece about how actress Gwyneth Paltrow and InfoWars founder and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones are healing America's political divide.

The 37-year-old Kosta was previously the host of the short-lived E network infotainment series "The Comment Section." Kosta played tennis at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 1998-2002 and helped lead the university to multiple Big 10 championships.
