'Chicago Fire' earns 2nd season on NBC

NBC has renewed the Chicago-set and filmed "Chicago Fire" along with four other dramas, the network announced Friday. "Chicago Fire" has done OK in the ratings, but more importantly it has boosted NBC's 9 p.m. Wednesday ratings by 24 percent year-over-year. There's also talk of a spinoff series. NBC also renewed "Revolution," "Parenthood," "Grimm" and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." All the shows have been given 22-episode seasons.
