Valerie Harper is exiting the tour of Matthew Lombardo’s “Looped” for medical reasons.
The actress, 73, was hospitalized earlier this month in New York City when she was rehearsing for the tour which was to kick off at Hartford’s Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts this week.
Stefanie Powers will replace Harper on tour. The Bushnell date is rescheduled to May 7 to 12. The tour will now kick off in Florida.
Powers was in the 1965 film, "Die, Die, My Darling" with Bankhead, the very film Bankhead is "looping" in "Looped."
