'Annapurna' Star Doesn't Mind Practically Nude Scene

To play the character of man who has lost it all in Sharr White's "Annapurna," now playing at Harford's TheaterWorks, you need an actor devoid of vanity.

"I don't know if you can find one," laughs Vasili Bogazianos who plays the character of a man who's at the end of his ropes in the play, living in a broken down trailer in the middle of nowhere. He's lost his job, his wife, his son and his health. He's let himself go. The audience first sees him when the play begins naked except for a soiled apron and cooking questionable meat.
