  1. Public TV in Germany, It's No PBS

One of the reasons public TV is so big in Germany is that it was the only TV in the national until 1984, when private stations began broadcasting.
German television is different than television in the United States.  That is what I have gathered after visiting two German TV outlets, one public and one private. The largest difference is that public television gets about 50% of the viewership in...

  5. Hyundai Accent

By Paula MacPherson The interior of the 2012 Hyundai Accent seems entirely out of place in a car with a $16,000 price tag. Granted, there's lots of plastic, but it looks very good. Add in upholstery that doesn't scream "cheap" and a variety of...

  9. Ford Fiesta

  11. Toyota Highlander

You can tell Toyota Highlander designers worked hard on the details. The instruments are clear and easy to read. The controls are simple. On my first drive I was actually able to tune the radio and control the temperature and fan speed. What a concept -...

  13. Daytrippers: Radio Controlled Cars

The massive amount of snow on the ground is causing parents to look to indoor activities to entertain their families. Don't forget about Radio Control Hobbies and Raceway in Waterbury, a unique place for kids and adults alike. The mini-track is located inside a 7000 square foot building and measures 75 by 40 feet wide. It is covered in 300 yards of hard packed, screened topsoil which makes the twisty dirt road extremely fast for the small vehicles. These "indoor electric off-road" cars routinely soar over jumps and crash into walls!
