State College Football Capsules

The Trinity football team will try to build on a 53-game home winning streak and take another step toward finishing first in the NESCAC Saturday when it hosts Middlebury at Jessee/Miller Field.

Kickoff is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. The Bantams haven't lost in Hartford since 2001.

Last season at Middlebury, Trinity was handed its first loss of the season, 27-24.

The Bantams (5-0) hope for the return Saturday of Chudi Iregbulem, who sat out last week's victory at Bowdoin with a leg injury but remains the NESCAC's top rusher at 121.5 yards a game. Trinity scored 17 unanswered points (14 in the fourth quarter) to beat the Polar Bears, 17-10.

Middlebury (3-2) has won...
