Watch this now: Frank Ocean, 'Acura Integurl'
Frank Ocean's soon-to-be-rereleased album, Nostalgia, Ultra., is a grower. When I first heard it in March, it seemed like a better-than-average debut a few rare flashes of brilliance. But I wasn't bowled over. For every slick no-brainer ("Novacane,"...

Five Great Songs: Beyonce, Bon Iver, Jamie xx, Lil Wayne and Nipsey Hussle
“Five Great Songs” is a new Louder Now feature I hope to do with some frequency. You may have heard these songs before or you might have missed them, but it’s my hope to offer something new as to why they matter. Again, I’m not...

Concert tours: Getting their act together
When Sade's first concert in a decade was announced last fall, she was billed as the sole headliner. Interest was expected to be high because the British R&B singer hadn't toured in years. But a couple of weeks after tickets had gone on sale for her show...

Interview: Never heard of Romeo Santos? Will Smith and Usher could change that
Anthony Santos used to work out at his gym in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood relatively unrecognized. Other than the gym’s Latino staff members, few ever noticed the Bronx native. That changed three years ago when ads featuring Santos —...

Album review: Nicki Minaj, 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded'
*** (out of four) No, Nicki Minaj still hasn’t made an album that consistently brandishes her best asset. (Not that one, dude.) I’m fine with that. Of course, it would be great if Minaj uncorked the jaw-dropping skills flashed in guest...
