After Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski recorded his 1,000th career victory in a win over St. John's on Sunday, he thanked all the former players and assistants who helped him reach the milestone.
Three of those former assistants are now head coaches of teams around Chicago: Northwestern's Chris Collins and Marquette's Steve Wojciechowski, who both played for Krzyzewski, and Notre Dame's Mike Brey, who served as an assistant at Duke from 1987-95. The three reflected on what they learned from Krzyzewski and shared some of their favorite memories.
