Forget New York. Chicago will be center stage on "Saturday Night Live" Feb. 13.
Melissa McCarthy, who grew up in Plainfield, is scheduled to host the show that night with musical guest Kanye West, who hails from the South Side, "SNL" reps tweeted Friday.
This will be McCarthy's fourth hosting stint and West's seventh performance on "SNL," according to NBC.
McCarthy's Chicago-set comedy "The Boss" is slated to premiere April 8.
West's new album, recently renamed "Waves," is scheduled to drop Feb. 11.
"SNL" airs on NBC at 10:30 p.m.
