When Tim Griffin first auditioned for a role in NBC's "Prime Suspect," he read for a completely different part than that of NYPD Det. Augie Blando.
But after meeting the veteran character actor, producers Peter Berg and Alexandra Cunningham asked him to try out for Irish cop Augie.
