Bill Berloni celebrates an acting career gone to the dogs

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. When Bill Berloni was a sophomore in college he wanted to be an actor. Ever since then he's been going to the dogs. Berloni's dreams took him to the Goodspeed Opera House to construct sets and paint backdrops so he could be around authentic "theater" people. But his career took a seismic shift his second summer there when they announced they were presenting the musical "Annie." The producers suddenly recognized they needed a dog to play the affable Sandy in the classic story.
