Where are the heroes? The Internet slays them

The Internet social media "dictator" -- where everybody has a chance to say anything they like -- has left us with very few heroes. And the instantaneous negative response is often overwhelming.

I have been vastly interested by the total tearing down of NBC's Brian Williams. I felt that the burgeoning Facebook, Twitter, New York Post and other TV networks would have this newsman hung in public without a trial, right there for all to see in Rockefeller Center.
