Fifth and sixth grade students at Windermere School in Ellington got a sampling of what Rachel Scott's life stood for, before and after she lost her life at Columbine High School in 1999. Eliana Reyes, an ambassador of the Rachel's Challenge organization, told the students about how Scott touched the lives of many, both before and after her passing. Videos and other visual aids were used in the presentation which depicted the day of the shootings at Columbine High School, where Scott was the first of 12 to lose their lives.
