After Linton Deck became ill, the former Orange County Public Schools Superintendent gave his past deputy superintendent and successor, Jim Schott, a box of books. Inside, Schott found a collection of Deck's writing, their collaborative texts, and tomes about what had always mattered most to Deck: leadership.
