Amazon opening pickup location at UIC

The University of Illinois at Chicago is the latest campus to get an Amazon package pickup location, the e-commerce company announced Monday.

The 2,300-square-foot store, called Amazon@UIC, will open in the Student Center East building later this year and will serve as a centralized spot to pick up and return Amazon orders.

"We couldn't be more excited to bring Amazon to campus and continue to elevate the services we provide our community," J. Rex Tolliver, the university's associate vice chancellor for student affairs, said in an Amazon news release.
