If 11 a.m. on Sunday is the most segregated hour in America, as the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. once observed about churches, then the next most segregated might be 11 p.m. Saturday on college campuses when the Greeks start partying. Fraternity and sorority systems remain largely separated along racial and ethnic lines. For that reason, the appalling video of Sigma Alpha Epsilon members at the University of Oklahoma chanting the n-word may be surprising for its stupidity and brazenness caught on camera.
