  • Adaptation of 'The Nutcracker' comes to Bradley

    Dancer, choreographer and teacher Michael Bolger led a studio filled with dancers through an adaptation of "The Nutcracker" on Nov. 9. Sixteen children and 17 adult dancers took turns taking to the floor of the Complex for Performing Arts Centre for rehearsal. Bolger, who is on the faculty at Providence Ballet and Roger Williams University, watched them in the huge mirror lining the 50- by 36-foot studio. He moved with them, showing how and when to turn or twist or raise their arms and step forward or backward. At one point he stopped them to make a point.
