  • Strong Bacon Academy fencing team has lots of experience

    Michael Vinickas, coach of Bacon Academy's fencing team, said that there are about 18 students fencing competitively in total for the 2014-2015 season, with about half on the varsity level and half on JV. The team is one-third girls, with six competing this year, the coach said. It is the largest competitive girls' team in the history of fencing at Bacon Academy, said Vinickas.
