    The fifth inning of the first game in a doubleheader against Putnam sealed the win for the Tourtellotte Memorial High School softball team on April 11. The Eastern Connecticut Conference small division Tigers scored five runs to clinch the win. Their bats were too much for the Clippers, a Constitution State Conference team, to handle. The Tigers finished the game 9-1. They did even more damage to Putnam in the second game, handing the Clippers a 23-8 loss.
