Christopher Keating has been the Courant’s Capitol bureau chief for 15 of the past 17 years, closely covering the administrations of the past four governors. A graduate of Fordham University, he received a master’s degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. After spending six years covering politics, police, and polo for the Greenwich Time, he joined The Courant in 1990 as a reporter in the Enfield bureau. Since then, he had brief stints writing about business and the courts, but has spent most of his time covering state politics and government.
