Central Connecticut State University's 'Tech It Out' Summer Pogram Offers New All Girls Robotic Week

NEW BRITAIN — Campers at Central Connecticut State University showed off their skills Wednesday as part of an all girls week at the "Tech it Out" summer program. The camp designed for middle and high school students to gain leadership skills and jump-start their interest in the field of technology is in its fourth year, but this is the first year an all girls class was offered in robotics. "There is a huge need for women in these careers," said Gregory Kane, a Tech it Out robotic instructor and adjunct professor in Central's School of Engineering, Science & Technology department who started the Central Student Summer Robotic Immersion programs....
