Freshman Saquon Barkley gets the 'green light' for Penn State; teammate calls him 'electric'

Freshman Saquon Barkley left for Penn State in June saying he intended to play in the season-opener against Temple. Looks like he'll fulfill that promise. Coach James Franklin said Wednesday that Barkley, a Whitehall High graduate, is among four true freshmen expected to play this season. Barkley could see time not only at running back but also on kickoff returns. The 220-pound running back has been among the most talked-about freshmen during Penn State's training camp. Receiver DaeSean Hamilton called him "electric," and returning starter Akeel Lynch said Barkley has pushed him all month. Joining Barkley on what Franklin called his "green-light"...
