  3. Happy Mother's Day to Me

It sure is swell when your kids come through on Mother’s Day: Breakfast in bed, gift cards for spa treatments, an empty dishwasher. But sometimes kids kind of stink. No offense, really. But sometimes doesn’t it seem as if everyone in your...

  5. Chemicals To Be Removed From Classic Kid's Shampoo

When my boys were maybe 2 and 4, I read an alarming article about all of the chemicals that are put into kid's shampoo, bubble bath and body lotion...and it really freaked me out.  I couldn't believe that many of the products I was using on their little bodies, including Johnson and Johnson's iconic baby shampoo, included these potentially cancer-causing chemicals.  Ever since, I have been shopping for their skincare items at our local health food store.  So, that's why I was extremely interested to learn that Johnson and Johnson is pledging to remove these controversial chemicals from almost all of it's toiletries in an effort to give consumers "peace of mind".

  11. The Modern Party

You’re getting married because you love the one you’re with. So, when it comes to the bachelor and bachelorette parties, forgo the outdated “last-night-of-freedom”/strip club and all-male revue/blackout-drunk clichés in favor of a celebration that’s both fun and a custom fit.
