    The Tribune Editorial Board should not take the advice of Milton Friedman on economics. After all, if the minimum wage had only kept pace with inflation since 1968, it would be almost $11 per hour now. Friedman was an economic adviser to President Ronald Reagan and showed him how to dismantle government functions, triple the national debt and lower taxes at the expense of the middle class and the poor. We are still living with Reaganomics, with an overwhelming percent of household wealth belonging to the top 5 percent of Americans.
