Question: Any idea what these eggs are? I can find reference to something that bores into the base of the plant/bulb, and lays eggs, but nothing about on the tips of the leaves. And it's only on this one variety/clump. -- Betty F.
Answer: Brent isn't sure what type of eggs they are, but since daffodils aren't affected by many insects, he said he didn't think there was anything to worry about. Our next Farmer’s Market will be held on Saturday, May 11th from 10 am to 2 pm. Come see what local vendors have brought for you! How does our garden grow? Join our monthly, guided garden tour to see how the garden has changed and what is new and in bloom! Garden Tours are offered the third Saturday of each month from now through November at 10:30 am.
