Three injured, equipment damaged in car, train collision

Westminster police are being asked to conduct traffic at railroad crossings in the city until the emergency crossing lighting is repaired following a collision involving a train and an automobile Thursday night that hospitalized three people. The driver of the vehicle, an adult female, was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment because she sustained a laceration to her head, according to Maj.
