The splash Robert Van Winkle, aka rapper Vanilla Ice, made in the Intracoastal Wednesday caused a few more waves than he expected. The landing of the seaplane he was on happened about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday on the Intracoastal Waterway in Lantana. It was supposed to be an extravagant entrance for the finale of his home renovation TV show, the Vanilla Ice Project, but instead it was mistaken for a plane crash.
