In the position, Shubik will be responsible for a variety of player-related matters. He will manage personal and team peer exercises, student-athlete mentoring programs on and off campus, assist with the coordination and monitoring of individual player's complete schedules and assist in all basketball-related campus events. He will also be in charge of the program's community and alumni relations efforts.
Shubik, 33, worked 10 seasons with the 76ers, adding the title of assistant coach in 2012-13. In the role, he was an on-court assistant during practice and assisted head coach Doug Collins in offensive game preparation.
