Shanksville 74, Salisbury 15
SHANKSVILLE — The Shanksville Vikings defeated Salisbury 74-15 in boys junior high basketball action Tuesday.
The Vikings had four players scoring double digits with Adam Strucky leading the contingency with 15 points. Jesse Bittner scored 14 points, Aaron Smith 13 and Ryan Caton with 10.
Shanksville will host Rockwood on Tuesday.

CAIRNBROOK — North Star and Shade split a junior high volleyball match Wednesday.
The Lady Cougars won the varsity match 25-10, 23-25, 25-19. The Lady Panthers won the junior varsity match 25-13, 26-24.
North Star and Shade play again Tuesday.
Somerset spikes PC
CRESSON — The Somerset junior high volleyball team opened its season with a win over Penn Cambria Wednesday.
The varsity scores were 25-11, 25-14. The junior varsity scores were 25-5, 23-25, 15-2.
The Lady Eagles host Greater Johnstown Tuesday.
SOMERSET — Top honors went to the team of Wayne Miller, Betty Maurer and Harvey Sarver who scattered 2,145 pins to take first place in senior bowling Wednesday at Terrace Lanes.
Second place (1,954) was taken by the team of Bob Weigle, Joe Slope and John Mostoller. Third place (1,905) was bowled by the team of Devon Miller, Thurman Korns and Mickey Talley.
