Margaret A. Griffith, 85, Confluence, died July 16, 2012, in Henry Clay Villa, Markleysburg. She was born July 24, 1926, in Garrett County, Md., a daughter of Everett and Carrie (Camp) Miller. Her parents, husband, Robert E. Griffith, daughters, Nancy and Bonnie Lynn and a sister, Laverne Turney preceded her in death. She is survived by daughters, Barbara Sechler and husband, Jerry, Addison, Donna Younkin and husband, Robert “Murph,” Ruth Wood and husband, Art, Carlene Beals and husband, Ron, all of Confluence, Cinda Romesburg, Addison, and a son, James and wife, Melodye, Confluence; 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson; brothers, Wilmer Miller, Cumberland, Md., and Paul Miller, Keyser, W.Va.; sisters, Pauline Georg and Dorothy Bowser, both of Accident, Md., Mary Aronhalt, Cumberland and Ann Wengerd, Marengo, Iowa and a special sister-in-law, Ruth Glass, Oakland, Md. Margaret was formerly employed at Spear’s Nursing Home, Markleysburg, Katie Miller’s Personal Care Home, Confluence and as a special needs aide at Turkeyfoot Valley Area Schools. She also helped with the Good Shepherd Ministry at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Fort Hill. She was a member at St. Paul’s Church and the Confluence V.F.W. Post 7250 Ladies Auxiliary. Friends will be received at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence on Friday from 2 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. the hour of service with Rev. Glenn Foster and Pastor Jarrod Sechler officiating. Interment in Addison Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Margaret’s memory may be sent to St. Paul Lutheran Church, c/o Everett Cary, 1923 Mt.
