Floyd H. Pritts, 90, of Pine Township, Mars, Allegheny County, died Dec. 31, 2011, at LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars. Born in Trent, Somerset County on Feb. 28, 1921, he was the son of the late George and Pearl Henry Pritts. Floyd was a burner for J. & L. Steel in Aliquippa and was a farmer for Minnoch Farm. He was a sergeant in the United States Army during World War II, and was a member of the Mars V.F.W. Post 7505 and the Dutilh United Methodist Church in Cranberry Township. Surviving are his wife, Florence Lyons Pritts, whom he married on April 6, 1957; a daughter, Robin Pritts of Jefferson, Ohio; and a brother, Albert Pritts of Champion. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Blaine Pritts. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
