Evan Lewis Maust, 82, of Salisbury
Evan Lewis Maust, 82, of Salisbury, died Thursday, June 20, 2013, at his residence. Born May 4, 1931, in Meyersdale, he is the son of the late Alvin and Edna (Miller) Maust. He was also preceded in death by two daughters, Vivian Marlene Maust and Audrey Sue Maust; a son, Rodney Evan Maust; his twin brother, Ivan Maust; and a sister, Amy Dolan Yoder. Mr. Maust was a dairy farmer and a member of Maple Glen Mennonite Church. He is survived by his wife, Ada (Beachy) Maust; two sons: LaVern Eugene Maust and wife, Phyllis and Bradley Earl Maust and wife, Twila, all of Salisbury; three daughters: Linda Marie Maust, Gladys Sharlene Maust and Vicki Radella Maust, all of Salisbury; two brothers: Willard Maust, Meyersdale; Francis Maust, Lebanon; a sister, Emily Maust, Grantsville, Md.; four grandchildren: Amanda Jo, Adam LaVern, Joanna Beth and Emily Kristen; three great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Maple Glen Mennonite Church with Pastor Philip Moser officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services.
