The following items were taken from police reports:
•A crate containing approximately 200 records was stolen sometime Nov. 5-6 from a record store on the 500 block of East Algonquin Road after a glass door was broken.
•A would-be burglar was scared off Nov. 5 when a homeowner yelled during an attempt to pry open a sliding glass door of a condo on the 700 block of West Dempster Street.
•An estimated $1,500 was stolen from a coat that was checked at Rivers Casino, 3000 S. River Road, on Nov. 3.
•A bicycle valued at $600 was stolen from a garage between Oct. 18 and Nov. 2 on the 1700 block of Sycamore Street.
•A Niles man was arrested for driving on a suspended license Oct. 29 on the 7000 block of Milwaukee Avenue after being pulled over for speeding.
•A Niles man was arrested Oct. 29 near the intersection of Ballard Road and Milwaukee Avenue for driving without a valid license after being pulled over for improper lane usage.
•A Chicago woman was arrested Oct. 31 near Gross Point Road and Caldwell Street for driving without a valid license after a minor traffic accident.
•A Park Ridge man was arrested near the intersection of Prospect and Courtland avenues Nov. 5 for driving without valid insurance, DUI and not wearing a seat belt, as well as disobeying a stop sign.
•A Chicago woman was arrested on the 900 block of Delphia Avenue on Nov. 6 for driving with no valid insurance or license, failing to signal and failing to secure a child in an automobile.
•A Morton Grove man was arrested for possession of cannabis on the 2600 block of West Dempster Street on Nov. 8.
•A Niles man was arrested on the 1600 block of Oakton Street on Nov. 8 for driving without a valid license after being pulled over for disobeying a traffic control device.
•A Wheaton man was arrested on the 1100 block of West Touhy Avenue on Nov. 9 for driving on an expired registration and without a license.
•A Park Ridge man was arrested on the 1700 block of West Dempster Street for battery and disorderly conduct.
•A metal dumpster in a school parking lot on the 1500 block of Stewart Avenue was set on fire Nov. 3.
•Several tools, furnaces and an outside air-conditioning unit were stolen from a home on the 500 block of South Knight Avenue sometime Oct. 31-Nov. 1.
