Downers Grove, Westmont, Woodridge police blotter: Oct. 22

The following items were taken from police reports:

Downers Grove

•A 24-year-old Downers Grove woman was arrested Oct. 14 for trying to steal jewelry from Kohl's on Finley Road.

•A 26-year-old Westmont man was arrested on obstruction charges Oct. 16 after refusing to identify himself to an officer conducting a traffic stop.

•A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle Oct. 17 while it was parked on the 2600 block of Warrenville Road.

•A bicycle was stolen from a garage on the 4100 block of Main Street sometime between Oct. 1 and 17.

•An iPhone was stolen from the YMCA at 711 59th St. on Oct. 19.

•A computer, luggage and clothing were stolen from a car on the 300 block of Fifth Street on Oct. 19.

•A 27-year-old Romeoville man was arrested on battery charges Oct. 17 after getting into a fight with employees of a towing yard, where the man's car had been taken.

Westmont

•A 34-year-old Clarendon Hills man was charged with battery after he pushed another individual in the 700 block of Fairfield Court at 7:30 a.m. Oct. 7.

•A 22-year-old Lemont man who was squealing his tires and driving in and out of lanes was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license in the 100 block of East Naperville Road at 2:45 a.m. Oct. 12.

•A cell phone was stolen in the 6700 block of Cass Avenue between 3:30 and 6 p.m. Oct. 14.

•An iPod and GPS unit were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 6200 block of Western Avenue between 10:30 a.m. Oct. 19 and 10:15 a.m. Oct. 20.

Woodridge

•Cash was stolen from a business after the front window was removed at about 2:53 a.m. Oct. 11 in the 2000 block of 63rd Street.

•A 13-year-old was charged with theft after taking an iPod from another juvenile at the Janes Avenue Skate Park in the 8000 block of Janes Avenue at 2:08 p.m. Oct. 11.

•A blow-up Halloween decoration was stolen from a private yard in the 1800 block of Nottingham Lane between 7:30 and 10:30 p.m. Oct. 11.

•A bicycle was removed from a garage in the 3200 block of Woodridge Drive between 10:30 p.m. Oct. 11 and 10:59 Oct. 12.

•A person took an iPhone without making payment during an attempted Craigslist sale in the 2400 block of Waterbury Drive at 10:15 a.m. Oct. 16.
