Tinley Park

•Catalytic converters were stolen from two employees' vehicles at the Holiday Inn Express motel, 18501 Convention Center Drive, on Oct. 18.

•Two patrons at L.A. Fitness, 18400 Convention Center Drive, returned to their locked lockers on Oct. 11 and 18 to find their locks missing, along with their wallets and other contents.

•Tools with a total value of $10,500 and drill bits with a total value of $760 were stolen from a work vehicle in a residential driveway on the 7300 block of West 171st Street on Oct. 18.

•Loose change was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 7500 block of West 165th Street on Oct. 18.

•A 29-year-old West Willard, Utah, man was charged with delivery of cannabis and possession of cannabis and had $377 confiscated, and a 29-year-old Tinley Park man was charged with possession of cannabis after an Oct. 17 drug transaction near a sandwich business on the 7300 block of West 183rd Street.

•A 75-year-old Chicago woman and 67-year-old Oak Lawn woman were charged with violating a local shoplifting ordinance after stealing magazines and other checkout-lane items at Walt's Finer Foods, 16039 S. Harlem Ave., on Oct. 17.

•A 20-year-old Tinley Park man who stole a $1.50 bottle of chocolate milk at Walt's Finer Foods, 16039 S. Harlem Ave., on Oct. 17 was charged with violating a local shoplifting ordinance.

•A 34-year-old Tinley Park man who parked partly in a handicapped space on the 8000 block of 183rd Street was charged Oct. 17 with violating local ordinances prohibiting cannabis possession and drug-paraphernalia possession.

•A visitor to the Ingalls Medical Facility, 17148 S. Harlem Ave., returned to her vehicle on Oct. 17 to find a $300 Coach-brand purse and its contents, a $300 Kindle Fire and $40 case, $50 perfume and a $20 iPhone charger stolen, along with the vehicle's catalytic converter.

•Four wood pallets valued at $40, 50 plastic milk and soda crates valued at $500 and 45 plastic bread crates valued at $450 were taken from Walt's Finer Foods,16039 S. Harlem Ave., between Oct. 13 and 17.

•A rear residential patio door was shattered on the 16700 block of 82nd Avenue on Oct. 17.

New Lenox

•A 25-year-old New Lenox man arrested for battery in connection with a fight on the 300 block of Sunset Trail was additionally charged with resisting arrest while being taken into custody on Oct. 30.

•A 32-year-old Joliet woman and 23-year-old Joliet woman were charged with retail theft after attempting to steal unspecified merchandise from Wal-mart, 500 block of East U.S. Route 30, in two unrelated incidents on Oct. 30.

•A side window was broken on a vehicle parked in the Metra lot on the 300 block of Church Street on Oct. 29, but nothing was reported taken.

•A 26-year-old Mokena man was charged with DUI and speeding during an Oct. 29 traffic stop at Cedar Road and Oakview Drive.

•An unattended car left running was stolen from Silver Cross Hospital on Oct. 27 and found later in Tinley Park on the 17100 block of Oketo Avenue.

•A 68-year-old Lockport woman was charged with aggravated battery after attacking staff at Silver Cross Hospital while seeking treatment on Oct. 26.
