The following items were taken from police reports.
•A 21-year-old Tinley Park man and an 18-year-old New Lenox male who climbed onto the roof of a restaurant on the 16900 block of Oak Park Avenue and then tried to escape arrest were charged with criminal trespass and obstructing justice July 8. The New Lenox resident was also charged with possession of cannabis.
•Spare tires with a collective value of $2,600 were taken from three pickup trucks parked at a dealership on the 8300 block of 159th Street on July 6-8.
•A 22-year-old Tinley Park man caught with 21 grams of cannabis and a scale during a traffic stop at Oak Park Avenue and North Street was charged with cannabis possession and operating a motor vehicle without a front registration plate July 8.
•About $50 was taken from an unlocked car parked in an unlocked garage on the 17900 block of South 66th Avenue on July 8.
•Four rims and tires with a value of $3,200 were taken from a 2012 Chevy Camaro parked in an apartment building lot on the 18100 block of South Rita Road on July 6. The vehicle was left sitting on landscaping blocks.
•A front driver's-side window was smashed and a shoulder bag containing an iPod, clothes, wallet and identification was taken from a locked vehicle at White Water Canyon Park on July 6.
•A $50 lawn chair was taken from the 17500 block of Drummond Drive on July 5.
•About $60 and a tire pump were taken from an unlocked vehicle on the 18000 block of South 66th Avenue on July 4.
•An unlocked vehicle was ransacked while parked in an unlocked garage on the 7200 block of West 173rd Place on July 3.
•A wallet containing identification, a financial card and cash was taken from an unlocked car on the 16200 block of 76th Avenue on July 3.
•A 2008 Honda Civic with keys in the ignition disappeared from a driveway on the 7700 block of West 166th Place. But it turned up 12 blocks away with minor damage in a shallow ditch on the 16800 block of Robin Hood Drive on July 3.
•A window valued at $500 was smashed at an apartment building on the 7400 block of 175th Street on July 8.
•An unlocked car was ransacked but nothing taken while parked on the 17600 block of Highland Avenue on July 8.
•A roadside mailbox on the 18000 block of South 66th Avenue sustained $100 in damage when lit firecrackers were placed inside it July 6-7.
•A $15,000 truck stolen July 7 from a business on the 7600 block of West 185th Street turned up 30 miles south of Galena, Ill., two days later, out of fuel.
•A Craftsman brand tool chest, wrenches, a paint sprayer, 12 spools of copper wire, a chainsaw, weed whacker, two construction nailers, nail finisher, nails and a hammer drill were taken July 5 from a construction company on the 1300 block of South Schoolhouse Road.
•A 62-year-old New Lenox man was charged with DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision after a July 7 crash at Schoolhouse and Chatfield roads.
