On the field: Bears made it clear they are working to overhaul an underachieving wide receiver corps completely. Jeffery has excellent hands and plays the ball well in the air. The team would be wise to leave him at one position and let him learn so he can contribute quickly. Needs to work on route running and blocking.
Upside: While he's not as physical as Brandon Marshall, the upside is a similarly productive playmaker in a big-time passing attack. He dominated at times in the SEC against top competition and has the ability to do that at the next level.
Downside: With a pro career ahead of him, Jeffery was not in shape last season when he played at 230 pounds. Some have questioned his work ethic.
Most resembles: Some have compared him to Mike Williams, the former first-round draft pick of the Lions. If the Bears get the Williams who has produced some for the Seahawks, it will work. They're hoping for much more here though.
