Joy Yee South, the latest location for Chinatown-based Joy Yee's Noodles, opened last month at 7101 W. 183rd St. in Tinley Park, in the former Yes Asian location, the company said in an email.

The restaurant features Pan Asian cuisine, particularly Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese, as well as smoothies. Menu items include broths, noodles and meats.

Hours at the Tinley location are from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Thursday, from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.

New mall store

Vans, a retailer that specializes in action sports gear and apparel and which has sold its wares at local department stores such as Kohl's, opened its third Southland location last week at Orland Square Mall in Orland Park.

The company was founded in 1966 and supports its own action sports teams and sponsors events such as Vans Triple Crown of Surfing.

The Orland store is located on the upper level in the Sears Court and shares mall hours. It joins Vans stores at Fox Valley Center in Aurora and Southlake Mall in Hobart, Ind.

3 grand openings

ProSource Wholesale Floor Coverings has set a grand opening open house from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at 9951 W. 190th St. in Mokena.

A new Mexican restaurant, Fuego Cantina, held its grand opening on Saturday at 3755 Grand Boulevard in Brookfield.

Hours for Fuego Cantina are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Wednesday and from 11 a.m. to midnight Thursday to Saturday.

Xtreme Kustom Wheels, a family-owned aftermarket auto parts store, has schedule a grand opening Friday at its new store at 518 162nd St. in South Holland. The company recently relocated from Calumet City.

Now open at Chicago Ridge

Schoop's, a northwest Indiana-based hamburger chain, opened its latest location last month at the Chicago Ridge Mall food court. The chain used to have a location on 95th Street in nearby Hickory Hills.

Also opening last month in the mall's food court was Pepillos, a restaurant that features homemade Mexican food.

The mall also last month welcomed Champs Sports into its new permanent spot. The store carries sports and team-related apparel and gear.
