Hartford police say they are investigating after a student brought what police termed “edible narcotics” to Bulkeley High School and shared them with a female student, who became ill.
The student was taken by her mother to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center for treatment. Police said she is in stable condition after suffering what was described as a “minor reaction.”
Police questioned the boy, who refused to provide any details. None of the substance was left and the boy would only say he got it “at a corner store.”
He did tell police he only shared it with the girl who became sick.
