Chief whose officers confronted bombers is retiring

Retiring Watertown Police Chief Ed Deveau spent 32 years on the force but the day that will always stand out is the one during which his officers confronted the Boston Marathon bombers. Deveau's last day on the job is Tuesday. In an interview with WBZ-TV (http://cbsloc.al/1HJXvIX ), he recalled the events of April 2013, days after the bombing, when officers responded to a report of a carjacking, not knowing they would soon be in a fight for their lives.
