Virginia Tech's Shai McKenzie sentenced to 15 days in jail, 50 hours community service

Virginia Tech running back Shai McKenzie was found guilty Thursday of one count of a consensual sex act with a child 15 years old or greater, resulting in a sentence of 15 days in jail and 50 hours of community service. McKenzie, who has been indefinitely suspended from Tech’s football program since early March after an incident in February involving an alleged sexual encounter in Christiansburg with underage girls, also had a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor dropped.
