Barrington schools getting security upgrades this summer

Two summer work projects are expected to improve campus security in Barrington School District 220, said Tom Campagna, district director of buildings and grounds. He said transparent film will cover door windows and adjacent windows at the entrances and exits at all district schools, including the Early Learning Center. "The films make it more difficult to forcibly enter the buildings. The windows won't be bullet proof, but will not fail and fall apart," he said.
