A woman who police said was driving drunk when she ran into and killed a pedestrian earlier this month has been charged with manslaughter.
Ladonna Davis, 37, of Woodland Street in Windsor Locks, turned herself in Tuesday and was arrested on a warrant charging her with second-degree manslaughter with a motor vehicle, police said. She posted $75,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Enfield on May 29.
She was charged with operating while under the influence of alcohol after she failed a field sobriety test at the scene. In addition, her blood-alcohol content was above the legal limit, police said at the time of her initial arrest.
