Windsor Locks Becomes First In State To Apply For Self-Driving Car Tests

Southington is a “no,” New Haven is a “maybe” and Windsor Locks is on board with a state offer to test self-driving cars on municipal roads.

As of this week, Windsor Locks appeared to be the only town or city in Connecticut applying to be one of four communities where the state will put remote-controlled vehicles on local streets as part of a pilot road test program.
