Here are the top deals to be found at Chicago Jewel-Osco grocery stores for the week of March 10, with coupon matchups. I don't list every item from the Wednesday grocery ad, only those that are close to their low prices or those that have a good coupon available. My favorite deals this week are free or $1 Tribe Hummus, $1 Mrs. T's Pierogies and a 12-pack double rolls Homelife toilet paper for $4.24 after coupon. In other news, it seems that Jewel is alternating between weeks when there are hardly any buy-one-get-one-free deals and weeks with lots of BOGOs, and this is a BOGO week.

About the coupons I mention: RedPlum, SmartSource, the P&G Saver and the occasional General Mills insert all come in the Sunday papers. Others come from booklets that are given away at Jewel and Dominick's, and I'll refer to those by the booklet title. The printables are the ones with the links; they usually require you to install a small coupon printing program on your computer and then allow you to print two copies of each coupon.

I've also noted which items should qualify for a 15 percent discount with that reusable 15 percent off Jewel brand coupon that was mailed out to some customers last week. You can keep this coupon and scan it every time you shop through March 27, and it applies to Jewel, homelife, Farm Stand, equaline and baby basics products. It doesn't say that meat is exempt so I'm assuming it will work on the Jewel-brand meats. Let me know in the comments section if it works or doesn't work for you.
