An 81-year-old woman was killed in a 3-vehicle crash in Aurora Saturday afternoon, police said.
The woman was driving a 2006 Honda Civic north on Eola Road about 12:30 p.m. Saturday when she tried to make a left turn onto Bilter Road and her car was hit by a 2014 Acura SUV that was heading south on Eola, according to a release from Aurora police. The crash propelled the SUV into a Honda Odyssey minivan that was stopped at Bilter, waiting to go east.
The woman was taken to Presence Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, where she was pronounced dead soon after. A 39-year-old man who was driving the SUV and his 7-year-old daughter were treated at the scene. Two women and four children in the Honda were not injured.

The Kane County Coroner's Office was to perform an autopsy on the woman, who has not yet been identified.
