Hollywood character actor Luis Guzman (“Boogie Nights”) visited Polish & Pour nail salon in Old Town Saturday with some of his “Mind Games” castmates. On Sunday, Guzman watched playoff football and ate wings at Municipal Bar + Dining Co. in River North with Casey Urlacher, brother of retired Bear Brian Urlacher.
Former NBA All-Star Charles Oakley also watched football at Municipal that day.
The Los Angeles Lakers’ Kobe Bryant dined at Gibson’s Bar & Steakhouse in the Gold Coast Monday, as did Eamonn Walker (“Chicago Fire”), the Blackhawks’ Jonathan Toews, the Bulls’ Taj Gibson and Carlos Boozer and their coach Tom Thibodeau, separately.
Fellow Laker Pau Gasol had dinner Sunday at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab. Retired Cub Kerry Wood and current Cub Darwin Barney were spotted there Friday, separately.
Blackhawks players, including Toews, Patrick Kane and Patrick Sharp, attended teammate Duncan Keith’s Keith Relief fundraiser Monday at Joe’s Bar. The benefit included a performance from country singer Lee Brice and raised over $100,000 for Keith Relief and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. Fellow Blackhawks Corey Crawford, Brandon Bollig and Nick Leddy hung out Sunday at The Underground.
